For banks small is beautiful

There is a banking reform conference in Edinburgh this week Thur 19th  & Fri 20th April.  Also: Website Friends of the Earth Scotland and Just Banking. 


From the press, Herald Scotland: Why big is never beautiful when it comes to banking   


Prof Richard Werner who is a keynote speaker at the event says:
 ' we need to move to a banking sector that consists of hundreds of autonomous, locally headquartered banks.'


Adam Posen MPC member is to be there as is Merryn Somerset Webb editor of Money Week, Ben Dyson of Positive Money and many prominent banking reformers.
